Digitize your video tapes today!
Years ago, I went to the closet and pulled out my large box of video tapes containing the precious memories of my kids childhood. I pulled out my old video camera and hooked it up to the TV and I cried all the way through those amazing sights and sounds of my now grown up kids...when they were babies.
About half way through, my old video camera gave up the ghost, it just stopped working . I scrambled to repair it but it was long gone. I had no way to play my tapes. My memories were lost. In desperation, I researched ways to preserve my video taped memories. I purchased endless devices, software and cords in an effort to digitize the tapes so I could play them on my computer and smart TV.. After a ton of work, if figured it out. Just like that, my precious memories were preserved.
After developing the system and knowledge to digitize my own tapes, I realized that I probably wasn't the only person with old video tapes that needed to be digitized. I formed Digitize Your Memories to assist people just like me, who need to preserve their memories. Now it's your turn to turn that pile of old video tapes into a permanent, easy to use USB drive that can be played on your computer, smart TV or other device.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
It's simple. We provide you with a written price quote and a written receipt for your video tapes. We digitize the tapes, put the files on a high quality USB drive and deliver the tapes and USB back to you. You enjoy your memories, with the safety of having them permanently preserved as a digital file.
NO!! We provide free pick up and delivery in San Diego and Orange counties. We pick up your tapes at your front door and deliver them back once digitized. There is no worrying necessary about lost mail and packages.
No, because we're a family business based in our home, our overhead is low. Our pricing is typically quite competitive with other services that charge up to $25 per tape. Take a look at our price list and give us a call if you have further questions.
You can't play video tapes without a player of some kind. Whether its a VCR or camera or some other device, that's how you can view the memories on the tape. When we digitize your tapes, we convert the video into a digital file that can be played or edited on a computer, smart TV or other device.
No! Your video tapes are degrading over time. Some last longer than others, but they are all losing their quality over time. Eventually, they will all be unviewable.
Yes, but we prefer not. If you are located in San Diego or Orange counties, we'll pick them up at your door. But, if you are not in our local area, we do accept mail orders. Please call or email for details.
No. What you have is what you have. We can only save what you have in a permanent, digital form.
Yes, but we don't recommend it. DVD technology is still available, but it is quickly being replaced. Sometime in the future you won't be able to get a DVD player, or get your DVD player repaired. We can do it, but we want you to know the limitations. We recommend saving your videos on a USB drive because of it's flexibility and reliability.
View them! Cry! Laugh! Then save them elsewhere. We provide you one copy and we recommend you back up that copy in two or three places. We want your memories to be preserved forever.
Tell us a little bit about your project. We will get back to you with a plan to Digitize Your Memories!
